Install the CLI and Skills
Use Node.js 22 or later. Install the package, then let kuohu set up your local agent Skills.

Connect your account
Create an access key, then paste it into the CLI’s masked login prompt. Your key is shown here only when it is created.

Which agents can use the Skills?
The included creator, canvas and director Skills are local SKILL.md files. Use an agent that supports local Skills, or call the CLI from any terminal or script. See the documentation for install locations and options.
How are generation tasks charged?
The CLI uses your kuohu.WORK account and its available generation routes. Generation consumes credits according to the selected model and parameters. Check your account balance and model information before submitting a task.
Can I continue working in the browser?
Yes. Canvas and director projects belong to the authenticated account and can be opened in its kuohu.WORK workspace. Generation commands return task data, which you can inspect with query-result.
What if a command fails or a task is still running?
Check auth status, available credits and model options first. Use the returned task ID to query a running task. If submission status is unclear, reconcile the existing task before submitting it again.
How do I keep my access key secure?
A complete key is shown once, at creation. Store it securely and use the CLI authentication flow. You can revoke a key here at any time; revoked keys can no longer authorize CLI requests.
